Some of the options within the Arbor Data step require a specific question type to to collect this data, in order to be able to tag to it within these automated MIS steps.
My Arbor Data is a question type that pulls existing data from the MIS for the user to be able to select. This field is compulsory when wanting to refer to the Students, Staff or Schools (if a MAT) within your MIS.
To use this the Question type the Text Input must be selected as My Arbor Data.
Once you have selected this you will see My Arbor Data appear in the question.
From here, select Settings on the question to open a slide over on the right-hand side. You will need to select the Arbor data that relates to the question.
You will see the option to select Staff, Student or School.
Once the form is deployed and the workflow is triggered the question will be visible to the user and will have a Select... drop-down option.
Once the user clicks into this it will pull the relevant list from the MIS.
Having your question configured to My Arbor Data means they will be in the correct format to add a Arbor Data Step to automate communicate to certain areas within your MIS.
